WELCOME TO THE 4TH EDITION OF THE OFFICIAL TUMBLR HOUSE CUP!

The OHC is a competition amongst Harry Potter fans on Tumblr where you join up, get Sorted, and earn points in a variety of ways! It’s a fun way to express your creativity, meet new friends, and bond over everyone’s mutual love/obsession for Harry Potter. 

WAYS TO EARN POINTS

• 5 points for participating in the Weekly Challenge.
• 5 points for a solo/screenshot promo of someone in another house, an admin, or a promo list.
• 5 points for solo/screenshot promos for a Housemate.
• 10 points for organising things together with any Housemates or Schoolmates! This can be blogrates, Tumblr Awards, promos, or any other things you guys can think of.
• 10 points for helping out Housemates (and your followers!). Making tutorial posts, helping a Housemate with their theme, making a sidebar for a Housemate, giving your Housemates Photoshop tips …
• 15 points for any creation related to (a) housemate(s) [like URL Graphics]
• 15 points for any creation related to Hogwarts/the HP universe/all HP characters (regardless of which House that character belongs to).
• 15 points for any creation clearly centered around another House (for example, founders, personality traits, representing animals, emblems, common rooms, etc., excluding characters).
• 20 points for any creation clearly centered around your own House (for example, founders, personality traits, representing animals, emblems, common rooms, etc., excluding characters).
• 25 points for any creation based on one of your Housemates’ original creation (for example, making an illustration for someone’s fanfic, a graphic based on a poem, a gifset based on someone’s fanmix… anything else like that. A link to the post you based your creation on is required).
• 35 points for Random Acts of Kindness in the real world, because there’s nothing better than making someone’s day a bit brighter. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Simple! To enter, simply do two things:

• Fill out this form.

Attention for former participants: the survey is new, so make sure to fill it out! The Sorting process will be a lot easier now. 

Please keep your askbox or submit box open so we can contact you if you get accepted into the Cup!

• Sorting is decided on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. We will be working in order based on filling out the survey AND reblogging this entrant post first.
• We will contact every participant to inform them of their participation and their House.
• You will be invited to the Common Room blog of said House.
• IMPORTANT: there will be only 25 members per House. Therefore, some of you will not get their first Housing choice. PLEASE ENTER ONLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PARTICIPATE REGARDLESS OF WHICH HOUSE YOU’RE IN.

The Cup will begin on April 14th and end on May 11th.
